Itinerary: All tours are planned based on the most current information available at the time of creation. While we make commercially reasonable efforts to follow the published itinerary, the final itinerary may vary due to availability, unforeseen circumstances, or factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, local traffic, and road conditions. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to substitute services, accommodations, or sites of similar quality for those listed in the itinerary.

Reservations and Payments: The tour deposit amount is listed on the website or in our brochure and is required to confirm your booking. Upon receipt of the deposit, we will send you a booking confirmation, which will include your final payment due date.
If a tour is already full, deposits may be accepted on a standby basis. Should space become available, you may choose to join the tour by paying the full balance or decline the space and receive a refund of your deposit. Final payment is due one hundred eighty (180) days prior to departure, unless otherwise stated on the website or in the brochure. Reservations made within one hundred eighty (180) days of departure require full payment at the time of booking to secure confirmation. Tour reservation of $500 deposit is non-refundable and the reservation is non-transferable. A bank service fee of US$35.00 will be charged for any returned check.
旅遊證件及簽證: 旅遊證件有效期以回程日計須達六個月或以上，並有足夠之空白頁供入境之用。
- 若有團體團簽，本公司可代為遞交簽證文件，團簽的許可由簽證國的領事館決定，與本公司無關。若因團簽未得許可，所有相關費用請自行承擔。團費部份，本公司根據情況斟酌部份退款。
- 即使參加者持有有效之入境簽證及旅遊證件，如因其個人問題而遭當地移民局或海關拒絕入境，責任參加者自負，概與本公司及或其委託機構毋須負任何責任。所繳費用不得退回或轉讓。因此而引起之額外住宿、交通費用等，均由參加者自行承擔。
Travel Documents and Visas: Your passport should have at least 6 months of validity remaining beyond your return date and have sufficient blank pages for entry.
- If a group visa is available, Canaan Travel may submit the required visa documents on your behalf. Visa approval is solely determined by the consulate of the destination country, and Canaan Travel is not responsible for the outcome. In the event of a visa rejection, all related expenses are the participant’s responsibility. Tour fees may be eligible for a partial refund at Canaan Travel’s discretion, depending on the circumstances.
- Even if participants hold valid entry visas and travel documents, entry may still be denied by local immigration or customs authorities for personal reasons. In such cases, the participant assumes full responsibility, and Canaan Travel and its authorized agents bear no liability. Fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. Any additional accommodation, transportation, or other expenses resulting from such denial of entry are the sole responsibility of the participant.

Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers, but is not limited to, trip cancellation, medical expenses, and quarantine-related costs. Insurance application information will be provided with your booking confirmation. For questions regarding coverage, participants should contact the insurance provider directly. If you decline insurance coverage, you assume full responsibility for any financial losses associated with your travel arrangements.

Tour Cancellation by You: We must receive your formal cancellation notice in writing by mail or email. The cancellation date will be the date on which we receive your notice. Text messages are not considered a valid form of communication.

Any unforeseen handling fees or penalty charges imposed by an airline or cruise line—including fees for internal air travel between tour destinations or for travel to or from the tour outside the published itinerary—are the participant’s responsibility.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance and trip cancellation insurance to help cover costs arising from unforeseen circumstances or trip interruptions or cancellations.
- 行程自抵達機場之首次預定團體集合時正式開始。行程一經確認並完成繳費後，凡於出發前因任何原因決定不參加行程者，皆須依「旅客自行取消行程」之退款規定辦理。若因航班延誤或取消，導致無法準時抵達行程開始時間，旅客須自行負擔費用並安排交通方式與團體會合。若旅客選擇於行程途中提前離團，未使用之行程部分恕不退款。
The tour officially begins at the first scheduled group gathering at the arrival airport. Once a tour reservation is confirmed and the tour fee is paid, any decision not to participate prior to departure—regardless of the reason—will be subject to the refund provisions outlined in the “Tour Cancellation by You” section. In the event of a flight delay or cancellation that prevents you from arriving on time for the start of the tour, you are responsible for making your own travel arrangements at your own cost to rejoin the tour. If you choose to leave the tour early, no refund will be issued for any unused portion of the tour.
- 若因本公司無法控制之不可避免因素，導致行程於出發前或行程進行中取消，凡需辦理退款（如有），將自退款金額中扣除每人美金 50 元之行政處理費。
If a tour is canceled before it begins or while it is in progress due to “unavoidable circumstances” beyond our control, an administrative fee of US$50 per person will be deducted from any refund issued (if applicable).
- 「迫不得已理由」指戰爭、政治動盪、恐怖襲擊、天災、疫症、惡劣天氣、交通工具發生技術問題、載運機構臨時更改班次或時間表、罷工、工業行動、旅遊目的地政府或世界衛生組織發出旅遊警示、美國國務院發出橘色或是紅色旅遊警示，業界不能控制的不利旅客外遊及其他任何不可抗力因素的情況。
“Unavoidable circumstances” include war, political unrest, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, epidemics, severe weather, technical problems with transport, last-minute changes to routes or schedules by carriers, strikes, industrial action, travel warnings issued by the government of the destination or the World Health Organization, orange or red travel alerts issued by the U.S. State Department, adverse circumstances beyond the control of the travel industry that hinder tourist travel, and any other force majeure factors.

Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel any Tour because of inadequate enrollment that makes the trip uneconomical to operate or because of our concerns with respect to the safety, health or welfare of our travelers or staff. If we cancel a Tour, our liability is limited and up to a full refund of your payments (minus $50 admin fee) to us and we will not be liable for any other costs, damages or refunds of any kind for any loss, delay, inconvenience, disappointment or expense whatsoever in such circumstances. If the tour in progress must be interrupted or canceled, we are not responsible for any financial losses and there would not be any refund.

Other Taxes and Fees: Certain governments may impose departure taxes and/or other fees. These charges are the responsibility of each participant traveling to the designated country and are not included in the tour price unless otherwise stated.

- 迦南美地旅遊的領隊及導遊均樂意為旅客在旅程中的餐食及購物提供協助; 唯有關物品之價格，質量，及售後服務等問題，均為旅客與商戶間的協議，與本公司無關。
- 行程中的行為：在行程中，您有責任尊重權威，並遵循領隊及導遊的指示以及您所在國家/地區的法律。若您的狀況或行為使您不適合參加團，或者不適合繼續參加團，我們可以自行決定，也可能會拒絕您參加全部或任何部分的旅遊。不當行為可能包括但不限於任何行為，無論其原因如何，不當或令人反感或干擾旅遊服務的提供或可能構成危險或尷尬。在這種情況下，該客戶所繳交的費用未使用的部份，將視同放棄，本公司將不負責退還任何費用。
- 團員如在旅途中退出 (如生病﹑探親) 或不參與任何團體活動 (如膳食﹑觀光及住宿)﹐均當作自動放棄﹐所繳團費不會發還。如果您勾選報名表中簽署的方框，代表您自己和您的旅行同伴已同意，既使您的同伴聲稱您無權代表他們同意旅行規則。
- 責任限制和損害賠償：對於任何傷害，損失，索賠，損害或任何特殊，懲罰性，示範性，直接，間接，偶然或後果性的任何形式的損害，無論是基於合同，侵權，嚴格的賠償，我們概不負責由旅行引起的或以任何方式與之相關的責任，即使被告知可能造成此類損害。

Disclaimer:
- Due to limited space on the tour bus, each guest is limited to one piece of luggage and one carry-on bag. Additional fees may apply for baggage exceeding this limit. For air travel, please check the baggage policy of your airline directly. We assume no responsibility for loss of or damage to baggage during transit to or from the tour, or while on the tour. If you worry about baggage loss or damage, we recommend purchasing supplemental travel insurance.
- Goods Purchased During the Tour: Canaan Travel accepts no responsibility for the value, quality, reliability, or authenticity of any goods purchased during the tour.
- Conduct During the Tour: You are responsible for respecting the authority of, and following the directions given by, the tour leader/guide, as well as complying with the laws of the countries included in your itinerary. We may exclude you from participating in all or any part of the tour if, in our sole discretion, your condition or behavior renders you unfit to participate or to continue once the tour has begun. “Unfitness” may include, without limitation, behavior that—regardless of cause—is inappropriate, offensive, interferes with the delivery of tour services, or may constitute a hazard or embarrassment. In such cases, no refund will be issued for any unused portion of the tour.
- Non-Participation / Authority to Bind Companions: If you choose, for any reason, not to participate in certain portions of the tour or not to use goods or services included in the tour, no refunds will be provided for those unused portions or goods. If you checked the box indicating that you are signing on behalf of yourself and your traveling companions, you acknowledge that you are authorized to agree to all aspects of the tour on their behalf, and neither you nor your companions may later claim lack of authorization.
- Limitation of Liability and Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or damage, nor for any special, punitive, exemplary, direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind—whether arising in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise—that arise out of or are in any way connected with the Tour, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Force Majeure: We assume no responsibility for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity caused by events beyond our exclusive control, including, but not limited to, delays or cancellations that cause you to miss all or any portion of the Tour; acts of God; disease or plague; acts of government; war; terrorist acts; riots; disasters; extreme weather conditions; or strikes. We do not have special knowledge regarding the financial condition of suppliers, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at destinations to which you may travel. You acknowledge that health care standards, facilities, and services outside your home country may differ from, or be inadequate for, the treatment of certain health conditions. For information regarding potential risks at foreign destinations, we recommend consulting the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs website for current Travel Advisories. For medical information, we recommend contacting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at (877) FYI-TRIP or visiting www.cdc.gov/travel
- Assumption of Risks and Release: Participation in activities during your Tour involves inherent risks and dangers, including, but not limited to: accidents occurring in remote areas with limited or no access to medical facilities, transportation, or rapid evacuation; travel in unsafe or politically unstable regions or under hazardous conditions; exposure to civil unrest, war, extortion, kidnapping, or terrorist activities; risks inherent in travel to underdeveloped countries; and risks associated with local law enforcement activities. You knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks and dangers. You further expressly agree to forever release, discharge, and hold harmless us and our affiliates, agents, employees, officers, and directors from any and all liabilities, actions, causes of action, suits, claims, or demands of any kind or nature, whether known or unknown, that now exist or may arise in the future out of or in connection with your Tour or participation in any related activities.
- Arbitration and Waiver of Trial by Jury: You agree to present any claim against us in writing within ninety (90) days after the Tour ends and to commence any legal action within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim, and you acknowledge that this provision expressly shortens any otherwise applicable statute of limitations to one (1) year. In lieu of litigation and trial by jury—both of which are expressly waived—any dispute arising out of, relating to, or referring to these Terms and Conditions, the brochure, or any other materials concerning your trip or the Tour shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, in accordance with the then-current Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be governed by the substantive laws of the State of California. The arbitrator(s), and not any federal, state, or local court or agency, shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute regarding the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, unconscionability, or formation of these Terms and Conditions, including, without limitation, any claim that all or any part of these Terms and Conditions is void or voidable.

Travel Advisories and Warnings: It is your responsibility to stay informed of the most current travel advisories and warnings by consulting the U.S. Department of State’s travel website at travel.state.gov.

General: You hereby consent to the use of photographs or video recordings of you in our marketing and promotional materials without compensation. Any facsimile or scanned transmission of a signed document shall be deemed the equivalent of delivery of an original. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the itinerary, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. All applications are subject to review and approval.

We reserve the right to decline to do business with any individual on a nondiscriminatory basis.

Active Elements, Medical Conditions, and Special Assistance: Some of our tours include active elements such as hiking, climbing, swimming, boat rides, hot air balloon rides, and horse or camel riding. You are responsible for familiarizing yourself with the level of physical activity involved in your tour. You must disclose on your Registration Form—or at any later time when you become aware of the condition—any existing physical or mental illness, disability, pregnancy, or other condition that may pose a health risk to yourself or others during the tour, or that may require medical attention or special accommodation.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate disclosed needs; however, you must notify us at the time of booking so we can determine what assistance, if any, can reasonably be provided. We regret that we are unable to accommodate special needs related to ordinary daily activities, such as walking or dining. Under no circumstances will we or our suppliers physically lift or assist you onto or off any vehicles. If we are unable to accommodate your needs, you must be accompanied by a companion who is capable of independently providing the required assistance.
我們保留拒絕接受我們認為不合適參加旅遊團者的權利。如果您的情況可能對您或其他人造成危險，或以其他方式影響其他乘客的享受，我們也保留將您從旅行團中撤出的權利，所有的損失將由您自行承擔。
We reserve the right to decline acceptance of any individual we deem unsuitable due to fitness level. We also reserve the right to remove you from the tour, at your own expense, if your condition poses a risk to yourself or others or otherwise detracts from the enjoyment of other participants.
